Oxford
- Faculty Development Grants, deadlines in November and February each year, $1000-3500 (5-15 awards made each year)
- Rackley Career Award, deadline in January/February each year, $6000 (one award each year)
- Allen Grant, deadline in November each year, $6000 (one award each year)
- President’s Fund for Research, deadline in November each year (there are two years of funds remaining), $5000 (2-4 awards made each year)
- Each regular faculty member receives a non-competitive grant of $1,500 annually to travel to conferences.

Law School
Does not have internal research grant opportunities. Traditionally, faculty who are not yet tenured are guaranteed a summer research stipend, but in the current budget situation it is not clear whether that will be continued.

Small ad hoc grant funded by the Dean’s Office and awarded to tenured or tenure-track faculty during fall and spring semesters. There is a specific amount of money available each semester and about 4-5 faculty members are generally awarded small awards each semester. School of Public Health
- The Emory Prevention Research Center funded by CDC enables faculty in the Health Sciences Center for apply for Special Interest Projects (SIPs) that are small grants to support cancer prevention investigations—they apply through the Prevention Center for CDC support. The Prevention Center is located in the School of Public Health.
- The Center for AIDS Research, funded by NIH, awards grants to Emory faculty for HIV/AIDS investigations. Jim Curran, PI, is in the School of Public Health and CFAR spans the Health Sciences Center.
- The Tobacco Technical Assistance Consortium, funded from several sources, supports initiatives to implement and evaluate smoking prevention or cessation programs in states.

Nursing
- The Lillian Carter Center for International Nursing (LCCIN) has a mission to improve the health of vulnerable people worldwide through nursing education, research, practice, and policy. LCCIN focuses on enhancing the impact of nursing through targeted international academic exchanges, partnerships fostering scholarship, creating a forum to explore issues relating to the global supply, demand, distribution, and quality of the nursing workforce worldwide, and by increasing access to relevant training and education.
- Faculty Travel Funds are available through the two NHWSN departments. Twice each year faculty are invited to apply for funding to professional meetings with priority given to scholarly presentations, with remaining funds allocated for faculty development opportunities
